I just listened to the entire discography of Cocorosie, for probably the umpteenth million time. Still blows me away. Besides the fact that the sister duo is brilliant, I am sharing this with you because my inspiration for tonight’s outfit can be credited to them. So turn on your speakers and enjoy readers!
And now to the headliner:
It all started with the 3.1 Phillip Lim vest. I felt it stage worthy. (You know, in case Cocorosie ever decides to call me up and ask me to perform with them.) From there, came the acid-wash jeans, I love the way they clash so beautifully with the formal sequined vest. The gold chain necklace is the only thing between the vest and your skin, a little bit of sex appeal. You have to check out this bangle up close, it’s art. The gold hoops and stud ring are also both from F21. The outfit is very luxe in a rocker excess way. I wanted an element of surprise–and these sweet Marc by Marc pumps fit the bill.

Doc Ross – I was FWB in the aircast at 7 and told to come back at week 9 but the doc was on vacation last week. This is now week 10 and have my appt this week so my guess is I’ll be out of the aircast then. I definitely feel like I’m ready. Others like Jim are on more aggressive schedules it appears. On balance I’m comfortable with the ROM and strength that I have right now and spend a lot of time up and about.
