Style Icon: Nico

Fashion model, turned singer, turned muse.

Nico had a very effortless style. She wore a lot of tailored pieces, her style was minimal. She always managed to look very chic and put together. The striped button-down can be worn tucked in to pants, with the scarf for a little less casual affair. Pair white jeans, a basic long-sleeved tee, a leather belt and this cotton blazer to create a laid back Nico look. These pleated trousers are a tailored piece that follow the men’s wear theme throughout her wardrobe. Nico wasn’t caught wearing heels to often—but since not all of us are blessed with model height, these white wedges fit the bill perfectly for a 1970’s muse.
