Busy isn’t even the word for what I have been this past week. I am so blissfully happy to have this evening alone. I plan on pampering myself with bubbly and silence. It will be terrific.
But I am most excited to share this news with you dear readers! I have been able to gather some stuff from the store I’m helping shut down and I’m going to put it up for sale at a much discounted price. Its mostly designer denim at the moment. I’m hoping by the weekend’s end to have pictures and the merch ready to move out! I haven’t done the online selling thing though, so any advice as to the best place to do this would be greatly appreciated!
I’ve been dreadfully behind in the fashion world, so I’m just seeing the Costume Institute Gala photos. I want to take a minute to talk about some of the looks that I’m favoring.
Ashley Olsen has gotten a ton of flak about this look. Personally, I love it. I think if it had been in any other color it would swallow her alive. There is something very ethereal about this though. I adore the back bling as well!
I wasn’t nuts about this when I first saw it. But after cycling through a thousand mini dresses, I came back to this look. And it had grown on me. Wearing head to toe lace is already daring, but to do it in a jumpsuit! Ballsy. I am inspired.
This Armani Prive dress Claire Danes wore fills my head with images from Romeo + Juliet. The top half is soft and feminine, the bottom half tough (without losing elegance), and almost reminiscent of armor (which I believe Leo donned a suit of in the movie). Call me a girl for being so fond of this look because of that, but hey, after all, I am a girl.
