I’ve been on the prowl for a black maxi crochet dress, or any sort of crochet black dress. How quickly I forget that I happened upon one early last year and it has been sitting lonely and pretty in my closet. I’m starting to get pretty into this whole thing they call photography. I’ve learned that close up detail, almost to the point of abstraction, is my favorite to shoot. Looks as if I will need to start saving my nickels and dimes for a macro lens! For now I’ll have to settle with my mediocre shots. Recommendations on a good macro lens anyone?

I have been doing some research on the Mayan Calender, but don’t have definitive answers. This doomsday could be a period that lasts a day, a few years, maybe 10 that’s assuming an asteroid doesn’t hit the planet. I am more inclined to believe that the date the 21 December 2012 will herald a significant event, like a massive world economic and financial collapse, or a huge earthquake, perhaps the fault line in California, followed by an ongoing series of natural disasters, wars, violence, floods, droughts, famine etc…with pockets of places where some people will survive after about two thirds of the population has been wiped out. The remaining third are those people who have wanted real change in this world…change to peace, connectedness and love. And then possibly these are the folk that will create the new heaven on earth.
Having said the above, I do believe that we can avert these disasters if we change our thinking, our attitudes and start caring about what really matters, start loving and seeing the interconnectedness of everything….but we haven’t got much time…one and a half years…can we do it?? We are moving into a photon belt of light and we need to raise our vibrations so have a Life (DNA Activation) to prepare yourself for this shift.
