Well that was unexpected! The past four days have been, well let’s just say too fast. I went on a buying trip to some showrooms in Los Angeles over the weekend. I had big plans to shoot that and prep for a shoot I’m styling. Last-minute-me forgot to pack the camera though. I also stopped at [...] It’s becoming a sick obsession. Florals and me, we just belong together. I’m still not totally comfortable with all things girly though. So I can easily justify this obsession by wearing it with grungey Doc-Marten-wannabes and torn tights. I’m also probably too comfortable not doing my hair and trying to pull off the bed-head-on-purpose look. Well [...] I will never get my wisdom teeth taken out again! Okay that is a tad dramatic, seeing as how after the healing process I will be in considerably less pain than prior to the surgery. But for now, it still hurts and my cheeks still look I’m harboring acorns for the winter months. And it has [...] Raspberries have never tasted so good! There’s something sort of magical about eating a raspberry straight from the vine. I think I’ll be repeating this whole experience again. I also find it very strange that this being my ‘subdued’ look attracts so much attention in a small town. (P.S. Did I mention how excited I [...] I have to say, I do have the GREATEST readers out there. Really, your comments lately have made me feel incredible. Much appreciation! And another revelation, leather and leopard are sort’ve meant for each other. Yes, I’m late on this leopard craze. It must be my lucky jacket month also. First the parka, now a waterfall [...] I’m really going to miss Downtown Riverside–although certainly not enough to stop me from moving to Los Angeles! It’s just your quintessential charming, sometimes seedy, downtown. You’ve got your brick buildings, your latte sippers, your trees with the tiny, tiny gates around them. Speaking of good things! I can cross another item off my fall-must-list. I [...] I am in love. Well I guess that is a bit materialistic to say because I am referring to one of my many new items of clothes. I bought this top as an early birthday present to me. The shape is so gorgeous and it’s semi-sheer, which seems to be the reoccurring theme in my wardrobe [...] I have gotten almost no sleep and thusly haven’t had much time to process being twenty-five, maybe not such a terrible thing.
