I feel like since I work in the fashion industry, nobody can tell me that this is not clothes. And especially since I raced up rocks in order to beat my camera’s self timer! What we do for art and fashion.

Well that was unexpected! The past four days have been, well let’s just say too fast. I went on a buying trip to some showrooms in Los Angeles over the weekend. I had big plans to shoot that and prep for a shoot I’m styling. Last-minute-me forgot to pack the camera though. I also stopped at Space 15 Twenty, for ashamedly the first time. I have become a bad shopper, all I did was marvel over the display installations. Major applause for the UO visual staff at Space 15 Twenty.

The One With the Raspberries

Raspberries have never tasted so good! There’s something sort of magical about eating a raspberry straight from the vine. I think I’ll be repeating this whole experience again. I also find it very strange that this being my ‘subdued’ look attracts so much attention in a small town. (P.S. Did I mention how excited I am that my future roommate [see above] is so stylish, my size, and we will soon be sharing a closet? Because, I am.)

Birthday Pretty

I am in love. Well I guess that is a bit materialistic to say because I am referring to one of my many new items of clothes. I bought this top as an early birthday present to me. The shape is so gorgeous and it’s semi-sheer, which seems to be the reoccurring theme in my wardrobe as of late. I don’t do pretty that often, but this top has become the exception–and there may be more exceptions in the very near future. And I’m probably going to sound like a broken record, but please if you can vote for me in the Lanvin/H&M contest. The button is right over there on the side of your screen. Love.

When I See My Face

I’ve been pretty lax in the wardrobe department. Days off have been throwing on the first thing I find that’s clean and getting out there to a) enjoy the day b) catch up, plan, execute projects or 3) get done with the errands we all wish we could hire someone else to do. And yes that is my rotten excuse for why this outfit is so excessively simple (lazy even?).

Hey at least I’m not throwing on sweats and flips though right! Also, just a little heads up. Currently my clothes take refuge in three separate closets and a couple of bureaus—which is entirely too much since I’m moving into a much smaller place soon. I have the sad task of having to get rid of things. I’d much rather know that some of this stuff is going to a good home. So before I take anything to the consignment store I’m going to give all you special people a sneak peek and the chance at adopting it.
